Tyler Steele unleashed a fury after doorbell camera caught him beating a 12-week-old XL Bully for disobeying him. The 25-year-old was also caught on some footage grabbing a French bulldog by the scruff of the scruff and throwing the frightened pet into the air. Both clips were filmed a mile and a half away in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Steele bought the XL Bully, named Bo, a fortnight ago after paying £1,000 to a couple named Ashley Salmon and Megan Dawson. Salmon, 24, said she is now caring for Bo after demanding that she return it to him when she saw the clip of Steele violently yanking on her leash and hitting her on the head. She said the pup was checked by a vet and, aside from a slight swelling just above a bloodshot left eye, she was in good health. Mr. Salmon said today: “I spent an hour with Tyler about two weeks ago when he came to me to buy Bo. She is one of three puppies that were for sale.
“From the interaction, I had with Tyler, there was no reason for me to suspect that she would treat Bo the way she did. He said that he had other bulldogs and wanted an XL Bully. ‘He handed over £1,000 cash and took her away. But when I saw that video of him repeatedly hitting her on the head, I was disgusted. She hadn’t been with him a week and he was doing this to her. I contacted him on Facebook and told him that I wanted Bo back. He initially said that he didn’t want to be separated from her because it was her pet and he loved her, but I replied that he couldn’t love her that much if he was willing to beat her senseless. ‘It was only after I offered him his money that he agreed to meet me again and return Bo to me. But he didn’t want to talk about what he did.

Staffordshire Police confirmed today that they want to question him about the alleged animal abuse. Officers visited the home of an ex-girlfriend in Berry Hill, Stoke-on-Trent, yesterday morning looking for him, but did not answer the door. A spokeswoman for the force said: “We are aware of video of a pup in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, circulating on social media and we are investigating together with the RSPCA.” Investigations continue to locate the man. An RSPCA spokesman said: ‘We are aware of this and are looking into it. As such, we are unable to comment further at this time.
