Tyler McDermott the victim – Two males have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a 17-year-old teenager who died in north London after being shot.
McDermott died on Friday afternoon following an incident in Tottenham early Thursday morning. On Saturday, police detained two 19-year-olds. After police were summoned to claims of an injured man on Norman Road, an inquiry was initiated.

Officers discovered Mr. McDermott with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital and proclaimed dead the next day. These two arrests demonstrate the progress our investigation is making,” Detective Chief Inspector Neil John said. However, much work remains to be done to identify the individuals responsible for Tyler’s murder.
“There were a large number of people in the area at the time of Tyler’s murder, and I am reiterating my appeal for anyone who was there, or who has information about this incident, to contact police immediately.” The two people are still being held at a police station in north London.
