Tyler Griffin the suspect – Police are looking into the death of a lady who fell to her death Tuesday night at a Times Square hotel.
A man has been arrested in connection with the case, although his participation in her death is still under investigation. According to police, the 20-year-old lady died after falling from a window or rooftop onto second-story scaffolding. Although the circumstances of her death are still being investigated, a man was arrested for assaulting her in the hotel. According to police, the 20-year-old lady died after falling from the second-floor scaffolding of the OYO Hotel in Times Square at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

She was visiting from out of state, according to police, and there is no evidence that she was pushed or thrown. Before the victim jumped, police were summoned to a violent argument between the dead and 24-year-old Tyler Gryphon of Colorado. Gryphon was arrested for abusing the woman as well as endangering the couple’s 1-year-old child. Witnesses in the hotel say Gryphon grabbed the 1-year-old’s arm and yanked her down the stairs outside a hallway. Gryphon and the young child were both transported to the hospital for evaluation.
“I heard what sounded like a tremendous boom. It sounded almost like a gunshot. “And I was like, ‘What is going on?'” said Yumna Khan, a hotel guest. Oh, there’s a body outside.” I awoke from my sleep to find the body and exclaimed, ‘Oh my God.’ “I went down to the lobby and there were a lot of cops,” claimed hotel guest Juan Gamboa. Again, no indication has been provided by authorities that the victim was pushed or thrown, or what the prior incident was about. Her identity is yet to be revealed.
