Trista Fullerton Wiki – Trista Fullerton Biography
Police officers discovered Trista Fullerton and six of her children in a parking lot around 12:30 a.m. Saturday after a concerned citizen called 911 to report a woman “exhibiting strange behavior,” authorities said. Fullerton, who lost custody of her children, drove with them through several states to evade authorities and reach Northern California, Anderson police said. The mother and children were reportedly traveling in a trash-filled Dodge pickup truck with Arkansas license plates, which was parked in the parking lot, police said.
Trista Fullerton is 36 years old.
Officers responding to the 911 request for a welfare check arrived at the parking lot and soon identified Fullerton, 36, upon realizing that she had an active arrest warrant in the state of Arkansas. She was wanted by Anderson police for allegedly kidnapping her eight children from her foster home after losing custody of her, Anderson police said. Fullerton, who has a criminal record that includes domestic assault charges, was arrested at the scene and questioned by investigators about the whereabouts of her two other children, police said. The two children were later found at a home in the Cottonwood area with the help of the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office. Fullerton, of Rogers, Arkansas, was booked into the Shasta County Jail in connection with the warrant for her arrest, Anderson police said. It is unclear how long Fullerton was with her children after the alleged abductions. The children were turned over to Shasta County Children and Family Services so they could be reunited with their guardians in Arkansas.
