Tiara Wheeler, daughter of former NBA player Tyson Wheeler, died in a motorcycle accident at age 24. Tiara was a passenger on a dirt bike that ran a red light before colliding with an Audi in Gorton, Connecticut, on Monday night. The 24-year-old was thrown from the bike following the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. ‘Tiara’s energy was contagious. “She was passionate about social and racial justice issues and she always put her family first,” the family wrote in her obituary. Tiara and her driver were among a group of dirt bikes and ATVs driving recklessly, some with their lights off, police said. According to police, none of the other members of the group rendered aid to the victims. They have also been accused of stealing and tampering with evidence before leaving the victims for dead. “What is most concerning is that someone who could have been riding with them stopped at this accident and, instead of rendering aid to the seriously injured parties, ran the motorcycle off the road,” said Groton Police Chief Louis J.
