Giovanniello has been helping with the Glen Cove EMS since she was 16 years old and was a well-liked member of the organization. She became a cherished member of the Glen Cove community as a result of her love for helping people and her dedication to giving back to the community.

Cause of Death
On Monday, April 3rd, 2023, Susan Giovanniello of Glen Clove EMS tragically and suddenly lost away at the age of 19. The Nassau County fire marshal reports that Susan died shortly after her morning shift. She reportedly arrived at the hospital in a hurry but was declared dead soon after. She reportedly experienced an unidentified medical emergency, albeit the precise cause of her death has not yet been found. Her passing was reported by Glen Cove EMS, who also sent their sympathies to her family and friends. They said she would always be remembered as a kind and committed member of the EMS community. Susan accompanied the explorers as their secretary.
