Simone Bryna Kim, 24, of Killeen, Texas, was arrested Tuesday afternoon after Miami-Dade police had to remove her from the flight.
She is facing a series of charges in South Florida after police say she fought off officers who kicked her off a Frontier Airlines flight at Miami International Airport Tuesday afternoon.

Faced two felony counts of assault on a police officer
According to a Miami-Dade Police Department arrest report, Simone Bryna Kim caused a disturbance aboard Frontier Airlines Flight 2426, which was headed to Philadelphia, and refused the crew’s request to leave the plane.
Police then responded and asked her to leave the plane and she refused again, according to the report. That forced everyone, including Kim, off the plane, police said.
The report states that after officers informed Kim that she was under arrest, she began to “push, pull, and strain” and dug her fingernails into an officer’s elbow, causing scratches.
But, according to the police, she was not done. As officers escorted Kim off the bridge of the plane, she kicked an officer nearly causing him to fall down the stairs, according to the report.
Police said Ella Kim also tried to bite three officers who were trying to put her in a police car and tried to kick the officers who were holding her legs.
Ultimately, she was taken to the airport police station and then to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. She later released herself from jail in bonded conditions.
Kim faced two felony counts of assault on a police officer, one felony count of resisting an officer with violence, three misdemeanor counts of assault on a police officer and one misdemeanor trespassing count.
