Shantonya Williamson, a Michigan mother allegedly shot another woman who became pregnant by the same man as her. She saw the father of her baby in a car with another pregnant woman in Detroit on Sunday. Williamson also has a 2-year-old son who was with her when she saw the man with another woman.

Charged in shooting of pregnant Woman
Police said the man got out of the car and began arguing with Williamson, who allegedly pulled out a gun and began shooting at the pregnant woman in the car. Authorities said the woman was shot in the leg and has non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was wounded in the leg and drove herself to a hospital. She is expected to be OK.
As Detroit police drove past a home in the 18000 block of Greenly, officers allegedly witnessed Williamson slap the man across the face. She was arrested and charged with fourth degree child abuse and assault with intent to murder, and her bail was set at $750,000.
Macomb County District Attorney Pete Lucido called it “outrageous conduct.” This shooting doesn’t make sense, it’s violent. And more importantly, it is dangerous to the point of death. Anyone could have died there, Lucido said.
