Sergio Brown Wiki – Sergio Brown Biography
Former NFL player Sergio Brown, 35, has been arrested in connection with his mother’s death after being seen partying in Mexico in the wake of her death, according to a report.
He was deported from the country on Tuesday and taken into custody near San Diego based on an arrest warrant issued in Illinois, an unidentified law enforcement source told CNN. Police in San Diego are now reportedly working to transfer the former pro-footballer from Southern California to the Chicago area, where his mother, Myrtle, was found dead in her home last month. Authorities discovered Myrtle’s body after relatives alerted the Maywood Police Department that they were unable to find or contact her or her son. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office later determined the 73-year-old died from injuries related to an assault, and declared her death a homicide.
Just a few days after, Brown, 35, posted an unhinged rant to his apparent burner Instagram account intplayerwithapassport, that referenced the 2003 children’s film “Finding Nemo” and mocked the missing person’s report filed by his family. “Just keep swimming, just keep swimming,” he said, repeating a mantra made famous by Ellen DeGeneres’ character, Dory, in the movie. “What the f–k? Missing? They ain’t never seen ‘Finding Nemo’? What the f–k is going on? This is traumatic. Lucky I don’t have to say a joke. You … what the f–k? Just keep swimming,” he said before breaking into maniacal laughter. In another video Brown posted to his Instagram, the former safety could be seen walking shirtless around an unspecified sunny location singing the cryptic hook of Drake’s song “Legend,” “Oh my God, oh my God, if I die I’m a legend,” he sang, slowly and dramatically while making exaggerated facial expressions for emphasis.
Sergio Brown is 35 years old.
Sergio Brown Arrested
Brown was later seen in another video earlier this month partying and dancing with twerking women at a club in Tulum, Mexico — seemingly carefree as the investigation into his mother’s murder continued. In the video obtained by TMZ Sports, Brown wore nothing but a pair of red Nike swimming trunks and a radiant smile, while a blonde woman in a blue swimsuit playfully draped her arms around his shoulders and danced with the former Indianapolis Colts defensive back, who is laughing and gyrating his hips to the beat. Later in the two-minute recording, Brown joined an eclectic group of patrons rhythmically swaying back and forth as hip-hop music blares in the background.
The ex-football player remained at the club for several hours, which he spent chatting with people and buying them drinks, before taking off, a witness told the gossip outlet. Mexican authorities have reportedly known he was in the country since September 19 but only deported him after Illinois finally released a warrant for his arrest. Brown appeared in 94 games including for the New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Buffalo Bills. He played in the league from 2010 until 2016. The Notre Dame alum also played his high school ball at Proviso East High School in Maywood, a Chicago suburb.
