Robert “Bobby” Wiki – Robert “Bobby” Bio
Robert “Bobby” Schmidt’s body was found in a dirt field. No arrests have been made. A Southern California mother wants justice for her 16-year-old son, whose body was discovered in a dirt field early Tuesday morning, according to an NBCLA report.
“Why would you leave my son on earth?” Elizabeth Schmidt told the television station. “My only son, 16 years old. The oldest and he is gone.” On Monday night, Robert Schmidt Jr. asked his mother to drop him off at Apple Valley Skate Park, where he could hang out with his friends, she recalled.
“Everything was fine. He seemed fine on our way here, we were talking about dinner,” she told the station. “When I got to the skatepark he was like, ‘Mom, do you have $10?’ Then he said, ‘Bye, I love you.’ And he knows he had work at 10 p.m.”
Elizabeth, who works the night shift, called 911 the next morning when she realized Robert hadn’t come home.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the call around 9 a.m. and discovered Robert’s body in a field across the street from a Dollar General store, which is around the corner from the skate park, authorities said in a news release.
“Schmidt had sustained traumatic injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene,” authorities said in the statement. No arrests have been made.
