Princess Tolliver was killed and many others injured after a shooting Monday morning in Seminole County. According to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the area of CR46-A and Rinehart Road in Sanford around 2:30 a.m. for a two-vehicle shooting. Authorities said multiple victims are being treated at hospitals and one woman has died. Deputies believe that one vehicle began firing at another vehicle. Two dark-colored vehicles believed to be involved were towed away. Detectives say one of the vehicles is being processed for evidence.

Princess Tolliver, 31, of Tallahassee, was identified as the victim. Her family is trying to find out why this happened and hopes that officers will arrest someone soon. “She was a very outgoing young woman. A very sweet person. A lovely person,” said Tolliver’s grandmother, Barbara Flynn-Tolliver. Flynn-Tolliver said her family members are in shock. She said they don’t know why something like this would have happened to her. She was a hard worker. She would do anything to help her other sisters. She had three other sisters. They were very, very close,” Flynn-Tolliver said. “I never dreamed that something like this would happen to one of my grandchildren.
Flynn-Tolliver believes her granddaughter was visiting central Florida over the weekend. Robert Nicosia told WESH 2 that he walks nearby and was surprised to see all the researchers. I saw all this traffic back up, and I was doing my normal walks and I see this,” Nicosia said. The suspect remains at large, but investigators do not believe the shooting was random. Officials say more information will be released at a later date. The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with leads to call them at 407-665-6650.
