Young Poppy O’Neill was last seen on Friday morning around 7.30am. at her home in Townhill, Swansea, but she has not been seen since. South Wales Police said “concern for her welfare is growing” as time goes by, adding that she is believed to have links to other parts of south Wales, including Newport, 50 miles To the East. A post by her worried mother on Facebook has been shared more than 200 times as her relatives desperately plead for information about her disappearance.

‘Concerns growing’ as 12-year-old missing from home
Poppy is described as 5ft 2in tall, of small/medium build, with long straight red hair. The last time she was seen she was wearing a gray hoodie and black leggings. In a statement issued on social media on Saturday, South Wales Police said: “Have you seen Poppy O’Neill, who was reported missing from her home in Townhill, Swansea? ‘Twelve-year-old Poppy was last seen at around 7.30am yesterday (Friday 1 September) and there is growing concern for her well-being. ‘Poppy is 5 feet 2 inches tall, she is of small to medium build and has long, straight red hair. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and black leggings. ‘She has links to several areas of South Wales, including the #Newport area. “Anyone who has any information about her whereabouts, or who believes they have seen her, is asked to contact us quoting reference 2300294227.”
