Paul Greenfield,58, a bereaved family has paid homage to a ‘loving’ father-of-three who died in a motorcycling accident with an Audi A5.
Since Paul Greenfield, of Stockton, County Durham, died in the crash on the A1027 in Norton, four persons have been detained. Paul’s wife remembered him as a ‘wonderful husband and father of three children’ after he died on June 8 at 10 p.m.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, and another 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They both remain in police custody as a 24-year-old man is the fourth to be arrested and remains in police custody on suspicion of assisting an offender. A man aged 25 was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender but was bailed as Durham Police inquiries continue.
Durham Constabulary say their thoughts remain with the man’s family and friends. The crash was with a white Audi A5 with black alloy wheels traveling towards the blue bridge on Norton Ring Road. Officers have asked for witnesses as well as anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage. The family of Paul has requested that the public respect their privacy.
