Oscar Solis, 30, a Florida man has been charged with the murder and mutilation of an Uber Eats delivery driver.

The victim’s wife texted him at 6:43 p.m. local time on April 19; in response, he wrote back that he was making his last delivery and would be home shortly, according to Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco, who made the remarks during a news conference on Tuesday. Then, at 7:13 o’clock, she contacted him but got no response. The victim’s wife reported him missing later that evening, and the sheriff’s office dispatched a patrol before turning the matter over to their missing person’s team. The victim’s last known GPS coordinates, which were at Solis’ residence on Moog Rd, were provided by Uber Eats, who the team called.

Suspect in the Murder of Randall Cooke, Arrested
Nocco claimed that when detectives arrived at the house, nobody was home. When detectives returned on Friday, they were able to speak with Solis’ flatmate, who gave them a video of their home’s outside on April 19. The victim is seen walking to the residence to bring food in the video, according to Nocco, before the picture “cuts out.” The next day, according to Nocco, Solis and another person were allegedly spotted dragging trash bags to the side of the residence. Human remains were found in the bags after detectives searched them.
Nocco added that the victim’s car keys and wedding ring were discovered inside the residence, while his vehicle was discovered about a third of a mile away.
