Neighbors identified Nadja De Jager, a 47-year-old mother, who was found dead in her London home with her two children, aged seven and nine.

Ms. De Jager is understood to have worked as the CEO of a local real estate company. Neighbors have described her shock after the grim discovery at lunchtime on Thursday. The first thing I knew something bad had happened was when the police showed up at lunchtime yesterday. Since then I found out that Nadia and her two children are dead. I didn’t know her well, and I just to say hello, but she was always smart and her children were well cared for. ‘In the summer the children played happily in the garden. God knows what happened. He added that the family appeared to be recently preparing to move but later changed his mind.
The neighbor said: ‘A couple of weeks ago it looked like they were going to move. He has drawn the curtains and thrown away a bunch of old toys. And then everything returned to normal. Another neighbor told how the family had moved to the quiet residential street about five years ago but had not fully integrated. She said: ‘She moved away about five years ago. She always greeted her, but she didn’t really want to go any further.

Detectives are not actively looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation and post-mortem examinations will be arranged. The semi-detached property, which is on a street where the average house price for the last 12 months was £395,000, was sealed up on Friday following the discovery of the bodies on Thursday morning. ‘Police were called at 11:50 a.m. Thursday due to concerns for the welfare of the occupants at an address on Mayfield Road in Belvedere. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. At the scene, a 47-year-old woman and two children, ages nine and seven, were found dead inside the property. The next of kin have been notified. Post-mortem examinations will be arranged in due course. The Met’s Crime Command is leading the investigation. At this early stage, detectives are not actively looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation. The crime scene remains in place.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 12:16 yesterday (March 9) to inform us of an incident in Mayfield Road, Belvedere. We dispatched a medic in a rapid response car and two incident response officers to the scene. Unfortunately, three people were pronounced dead at the scene.”
