Michele Little, 29, authorities arrested a teacher accused of kissing an adolescent pupil in her Florida classroom after she allegedly made sexual comments towards him for several weeks.
Michele Little faces a charge of indecent, lewd, or lascivious touching of certain juveniles in connection with the alleged abuse of a 17-year-old male student at Sarasota Military Academy High School, according to a Sarasota Police Department news release. According to police, school officials contacted them after rumors about Little, 29, and the student began to circulate. On April 25, Little was interrogated by police and placed on administrative leave. Two days later, police interviewed the student, who accused Little of making sexual remarks to him for several weeks.

After school on April 17, the duo allegedly met in her classroom after she “closed the blinds” on her door. According to authorities, the two then “made out” for 10-15 minutes while the student “pretended[ed] to be on a computer working” in case anyone walked in. Little was arrested on Friday and was scheduled to appear in court over the weekend. Little is no longer in detention, according to jail records. It’s unknown whether she hired an attorney to speak on her behalf or pleaded guilty to the allegations. Sarasota Military Academy High School acknowledged the probe in a statement to students, parents, and faculty.
The statement reads, “The High School administration was made aware of an alleged incident that occurred between a staff member and a student that is being investigated by the Sarasota Police Department.” “We have learned that the Sarasota Police Department has made an arrest, and any updates regarding this case will be released by the SPD.”
