Michael Rudman, 44, the suspect, Tampa police arrested a man they said was armed and trying to enter a gentlemen’s club.
Michael Rudman was arrested Sunday morning outside of Mons Venus on Dale Mabry Highway, according to a news release sent Tuesday. Police say Rudman was wearing a red and black devil mask and had the words “kill” and “dark” on his arms. According to investigators, Rudman had a firearm in one hand and a flashlight in the other when he approached the club. A club security guard noticed the gun and was able to wrest it from Rudman’s hand, police said.

Found two fully loaded magazines in his pocket
During the fight, a round from Rudman’s gun struck the door of the building. No one inside was injured. A security guard was slightly injured. Investigators said they found more ammunition, knives, and gun accessories in Rudman’s truck, as well as two fully loaded magazines in his pocket.
Police are still trying to find a motive behind Rudman’s actions. He faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
