According to court records acquired by KSAT, San Antonio police arrested Michael Aguero and Richard Dietz on Friday and charged them with aggravated robbery in connection with the Jan. 14 incident.

The teens were allegedly running through the neighborhood near Nash Avenue, ringing doorbells, and running away. One of them, however, was delayed at one point. Police said that when Dietz approached the teen, he yelled at her to get on her knees. Agüero then arrived with the gun and ordered the boy to present identification. The teenager admitted to the men that he did not have their identification on him. According to SAPD, they then demanded his cell phone and left the area, the New York Post reported.

Culprits were taken to the Bexar County Jail

The teen picked Dietz out of a lineup and Agüero was later recognized as the gunman. The teen’s phone was returned and the culprits were taken to the Bexar County Jail for booking. Each of his bonuses is set at $50,000, as reported by KSAT.

In a similar event about a month ago in Texas, 3 teenagers were kidnapped and held at gunpoint. According to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar, the 35-year-old man was arrested and charged in a kidnapping case after officers released a 15-year-old girl he had kidnapped under duress, CBS Austin reported.

The girl and two other school-age children were in a car with three other teens at 12:30 p.m. Friday in southwest Bexar County. According to Salazar, the driver saw a black Dodge Ram pickup chasing their car before approaching them at a stop sign.

The sheriff said Alexander McCormick, the driver of the Ram pickup, cut off the teens’ car before getting out and holding them at gunpoint. According to Salazar, one of the teens in the van knew McCormick. When he asked the girl to get out of the car and into her vehicle, she did so out of concern for her safety.

Charges have been filed against McCormick with aggravated kidnapping, a first degree felony, and aggravated assault with a weapon, a second degree felony. According to Salazar, a $60,000 bond is required for each of the two claims. According to the sheriff, McCormick was out on bond for a different offense at the time of her arrest. Salazar claimed similar conditions occurred in the earlier incident, in which McCormick allegedly threatened a group of youths he thought were responsible for vandalizing his truck, according to reports.
