Martin Cousland, 70, and his wife Jo, 69, the victims were traveling in an Audi Q2 that collided with a Ford Mondeo near Dalmally at around 2 pm on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Cousland, of Anstruther in Fife, died at the scene. Three men in the Ford Mondeo were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment. Medical staff described his condition as stable. The road was closed for more than eight hours to allow for police investigations. Sergeant Archie McGuire, of the Campbeltown Highway Police unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Cousland.

Husband & wife died in a car accident names of identified victims
Martin Cousland and his wife Jo lived in Anstruther but were traveling on the A85 between Arrivain and Dalmally when their red Audi Q2 collided with a gray Ford Mondeo around 2 pm. m. of March 31. Emergency services responded to the scene but both Mr. and Mrs. Cousland, aged 70 and 69 respectively, were pronounced dead at the scene. The three male occupants of the Ford Mondeo were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow and their conditions have been described as stable.
The couple’s family has been informed and police said a report will be made to the Public Prosecutor. Sergeant Archie McGuire, of the Campbeltown Highway Police unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Cousland.” contact the police. He would also ask anyone who is traveling in the area who may have dash cam footage to help get in touch.”
