Lury Pizarro and Emmanuel Wiki – Bio
On Valentine’s Day, three people, including a mother and her three-year-old son, were found dead inside a Connecticut home. After receiving a “suspicious incident report,” officers saw Lury Pizarro, 33, and her son Emmanuel, 3, inside the Brooklyn residence around 8:30 p.m. m. on Tuesday, February 21, according to a press release from the Connecticut State Police.
A third person found dead in the house was identified a day later as 32-year-old José Pérez. All three were from Worcester, according to State Police. The State Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said Pizzaro was shot in the head, neck and torso, and his son was shot in the head. Their deaths were ruled homicides, according to the medical examiner.

Shot to death inside Brooklyn residence
Prior to the accident, the family’s neighbors reported hearing gunshots overnight, according to NBC News. According to neighbors, the man, woman, and child had just moved into the apartment a few months ago. “She was very helpful, generous and selfless,” said Leyshaliz Otero, Pizarro’s cousin and Emmanuel’s godmother. “Her son of hers was like a rock, but when you got into him, he was loving and nice.”
Pizarro’s family has created a GoFundMe to cover his funeral costs and related expenses. The page described Pizarro as an “incredible and loving mother, daughter, sister and cousin.” She says, “Lury was a kind and generous person who touched the lives of many. She was selfless and always helping others. Emmanuel was a smart, caring, caring, and playful 3-year-old. I am saddened and heartbroken by how emotional he was.” What Lury was doing was becoming a mother. It was something she wanted so badly.”
According to the family, the mother-son duo was quite close. They assure that Lury Pizarro suffered three spontaneous abortions before having Emmanuel. “They were always together. She is always there for whatever he needs,” said Lury’s aunt, Naty Aldarin. “He was the one who was able to bless her, you know what to have,” she said, adding, “She’s always there for anyone who needs her help and this time she needs everyone’s support.” Aldarin revealed in the GoFundMe account message: “Money-wise, it’s a little tight and that’s the reason we did this, but we never thought we’d ever do something like this.” The fundraiser has raised nearly $11,000 of its $50,000 goal at press time.
