Luan Nam Wiki – Luan Nam Biography
Luan Nam, a Cambodian farmer, was killed today by forty crocodiles while attempting to wrangle one of his animals. The “crocodiles pounced, attacking him until he was dead,” Mey Savry, the police commander of Siem Reap commune, where the man’s farm was located, told Viral Press. The victim, 72-year-old Luan Nam, apparently entered the enclosure to remove one of the Crocs from a cage where it had deposited eggs.
According to Savry, things went wrong when the beast “attacked the stick” he was using to confine it, forcing him to “fall into the enclosure.” The reptile shepherd was suddenly attacked by scores of the beasts, which ripped his carcass to shreds, leaving the paddock awash in blood.
Luan Nam was 72 years old.

The animals are shown paddling through a pool of Nam’s blood in the accompanying photos, and a video shows officials removing his remains from the location. Nam’s body was riddled with bite wounds, and he reportedly lost both limbs and a leg, which the Crocs had consumed during the feeding frenzy, according to the police chief. His damaged body was then taken to his family’s home. Nam, who was also president of the local crocodile growers’ group, had been asked to leave the company for years, according to CBS.
