Liam Taylor Wiki – Liam Taylor Biography
Liam Taylor, 37, a man has admitted to murdering his pregnant girlfriend after she was stabbed 40 times with scissors.
Liam Taylor attacked Ailish Walsh at her London home in December when she was 22 weeks pregnant. Her father found the 28-year-old unconscious in the bedroom and covered in a high-visibility jacket containing Taylor’s bank card. Bloody scissors and two dumbbells were found nearby and Ms. Walsh was later pronounced dead. Solicitor Jane Osborne KC previously told a hearing: “The attack was exceptionally brutal and was carried out in the knowledge that Ms. Walsh was pregnant with the defendant’s child. There was a 12-week scan image and at 22 weeks it would have been quite apparent.”

Security cameras showed Taylor, 37, entering a communal entrance at 8:36 p.m. m. on the night of the attack and leaving at 9:14 p.m. m. The Old Bailey was told that a friend of the victim had also called shortly before she left and heard shouting and the sounds of fighting in the background. He called after Mrs. Walsh texted that she was trying to get Taylor out of her Hackney apartment because he was taking drugs.
The killer was discovered to have cannabis, cocaine, and alcohol in his system when he was arrested at his home the next day. It’s crazy how one crazy moment can change your whole life,” he told police as they took him into custody. The court heard that he had a conviction for attacking his mother with a stick, and he was also reprimanded for head-butting his sister when he was 16. Taylor, from Hornsey in east London, pleaded guilty to the murder of Ms. Walsh on Monday and will return to the Old Bailey on May 10 to set a sentencing date.
