Kory Clemens, the 34-year-old son of famed former Major League Baseball pitcher Roger Clemens, was arrested for his second DWI during an early morning car accident in Texas. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the Clemens scion was arrested by Houston police in the early morning hours of Friday, April 7. Clemens is charged with inflicting “heavy” damage to the front of a car he hit.

Clemens had bloodshot eyes, smelled of alcohol, was stumbling on his feet, and spoke with slurred speech. He also threw up at the scene of the crash, according to reports. Clemens was arrested in Harris County and later freed after posting a bond. In 2019, he was arrested for DWI in Houston after failing a field sobriety test, but the case was dismissed as part of a pretrial diversion program. Kory Clemens is Roger Clemens’ second son, and he works in real estate in the Houston area. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 14. In a career spanning 1984-2007 with the Red Sox, Blue Jays, Yankees, and Astros, Roger Clemens was an 11-time All-Star, seven-time Cy Young winner, two-time World Series champion, and the 1986 AL MVP. The 60-year-old recently appeared as a guest analyst on ESPN’s Opening Day telecast of the Astros-White Sox game.
