Khadijah Tynnettta Muhammad Wiki – Biography
Khadijah Tynnettta Muhammad, 54, assaulted the girl, who was not one of her students, at Margate Elementary School in Broward County on Oct. 10 in front of other students and staff members, according to a police report obtained by WPLG. School security footage showed the boy sitting on the floor of a hallway with other students before class when she threw a piece of paper in the direction of some classmates, police said. Muhammad then approached and grabbed the boy by the left wrist “in an aggressive act,” police said.

She continued to lift him off the ground by his arms, twisting his arms, and grabbed him by the back of her shirt as she pushed him down the hallway,” an officer wrote in the arrest report. “She ripped the jacket off his back and continually grabbed the student by his arms, wrists, shirt and jacket until the altercation ended,” police said. “Towards the end of the video, which was partially blocked from the camera’s view, she appeared to grab him by the neck and slam him to the ground.” According to police, the entire attack lasted about two minutes. Muhammad was later arrested at her home in Lauderdale Lakes and charged with child abuse. Parents told WPLG they were outraged by the allegations. “I know our kids can misbehave sometimes, but if there’s a problem, leave the discipline to the parents,” Nikki Glasco said. Muhammad was still employed by the district as of Friday, according to officials. “The school is working closely with authorities regarding this situation, and the teacher involved has been reassigned away from students and the school pending the outcome of the case,” the district said in a statement.
