K-POP Star Moonbin was discovered dead in his flat at the age of 25, according to South Korean authorities. His manager discovered him dead at his home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at 8:10 p.m. yesterday, according to Yonhap News Television.
The singer, actor, dancer, and model rose to prominence as a member of Astro and its sub-units Moonbin and Sanha. He is thought to have been discovered after failing to show up for rehearsals.
He was born Moon Bin and was a member of the original Astro lineup, debuting in 2016 alongside five other vocalists. Candy Sugar Pop, All Night, Crazy Sexy Cool, and Blue Flame were among the group’s hits.

In a statement released on the band’s Instagram, Astro’s record label Fantagio Music said: ‘On April 19th, Astro member Moonbin suddenly left us and became a light in the sky.’Although it cannot be compared to the pain of bereaved families who have lost their beloved sons and brothers, Astro members who have been with us for a long time, as well as our Fantagio colleague artists and executives, are mourning the deceased with profound sadness and shock.
‘It’s even more terrible to communicate the news to the fans who have backed Moonbin and lavished him with love.’I am even more heartbroken since I know the deceased’s heart, which was always filled with love and consideration for his admirers.
They also stated that his funeral would be held quietly, with only his friends, family, and colleagues in attendance. Moonbin was also the older brother of Billie’s K-pop girl group singer Moon Sua. He took a break in 2019 for health concerns but returned in 2020 to rejoin the group. On May 16, 2022, they launched their latest album, Drive to the Starry Road.

Fans pay tributes to the young star
Rocky, a founding member of the band, has since quit, while MJ is serving in South Korea’s compulsory military service, which mandates all able-bodied men to serve in the armed services. On January 4, he launched a new album, Incense, with fellow Astro star Sanha, and the duo was scheduled to play in Macau on Saturday.
According to event organizer Lumina Entertainment, the tour date scheduled for May 13 in Jakarta, Indonesia, has been canceled. ‘After much deliberation and consideration, we have decided to cancel this event owing to unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control that we could not avert,’ they stated.

You will be sorely missed.’ ‘I’m crying,’ said one. ‘Moonbin, you are a magnificent marvel.’I wish you were perfect in the sky as well. ‘You will live on in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
