Johnny Charles Ebbs V’s Wiki – Johnny Charles Ebbs V’s Bio

A Texas man accused of beating his girlfriend to the point where their unborn child died will not serve jail time after reaching a plea deal with the Travis County district attorney’s office on Monday, according to the reports.

Johnny Charles Ebbs V’s plea deal comes with eight years of deferred adjudication for a charge of continuous assault of family violence in the third degree, which means he has not been found guilty at the time of sentencing and his crime will be dismissed if does not violate your probation.

Police said Ebbs beat and hospitalized his pregnant girlfriend, LaShonda Lemons, in Austin in 2019. Three days later, the fetus died from blunt force trauma.

Investigation Report

Lemons’ attorney, Kelsey McKay, said in court that Ebbs’ bail and an agreed protective order required him to relinquish his guns, a move he has yet to make, KXAN reported.

McKay called gun surrender laws and domestic violence laws “relatively worthless” if not enforced. She said Ebbs’ plea deal means he will be required to wear a GPS monitor for six months and will not serve any jail time.

The Travis County District Attorney’s Office prosecuted this case. Fox News Digital has reached out to that office for comment. He has not responded.
