Jessica Edmunds, a mother of two found dead in her home, was photographed by friends paying tribute after a man and woman were arrested on suspicion of her murder. Friends say they were devastated after the life of Jessica Edmunds, in her 30s, was tragically cut short over the weekend. Her mother Tess Edmunds and her stepfather Jason Hinchcliffe have already received the devastating news. Police were called to her home in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, after the ambulance service alerted them that a body had been found. The Rawmarsh area was cordoned off for a thorough investigation shortly after 3.30pm on Monday. A 47-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody. Her friend Angie Gale, who launched an appeal to help with Jess’s funeral expenses, posted: ‘Our hearts break for her children, family and friends. Rest in peace Angel, we love you so much xx.’

Jason Hinchcliffe responded: ‘I’m Jess’s stepdad and I’m very heartbroken. Words cannot express what I feel. She will be greatly missed by many of my friends and family. Her friend Chrissie Stephen added: “Rip Jess, you are one in a million who will be sorely missed.” Leah Cottton posted: ‘RIP Jess Edmunds. She flies high. Very sad.’ Pal Donna Hardy responded: ‘Absolutely heartbreaking. Police said: ‘An inquest has been launched into the death of a woman in Rotherham. ‘Officers went to The Bridleway in Rawmarsh shortly after 3:30 p.m. m. following a call from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service reporting that a woman, in her 30s, had been found dead inside a property. ‘Upon arrival of officers, a 47-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of murder. Both remain in police custody. ‘The woman’s family has been informed and has the support of the agents. ‘The scenes remain in place at The Bridleway. We ask that you avoid the area while agents conduct their work and investigations.
