Who is Jamie Joseph Veale? Wiki, Bio, Age, Family, Jailed for huge EncroChat drugs supply conspiracy

Jamie Joseph Veale Wiki – Jamie Joseph Veale Biography

Jamie Joseph Veale, 32, used the EncroChat secret communications network to supply at least 17 kilos of cocaine to clients in north-west England.

The playboy cocaine dealer has now been widely mocked for his haircut after police posted a photo of his mugshot online. Police caught Veale negotiating prices for kilograms of Class A drugs after the UK’s National Crime Agency successfully infiltrated EncroChat in May 2020. Cheshire Police subsequently raided Veale’s Moorfield home Road, Widnes to find cash, designer jewellery, various mobile devices and drug paraphernalia. Veale came under fire for his unusual combover haircut, as social media users said the criminal should get a new wig. Critics on social media also suggested that he might be wearing a knockoff quiff when one asked, “Did he take off his Del Boy quiff?” “The prison barber will take care of that,” another social media user said. Veale has now been jailed after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs at Liverpool Crown Court.

Jamie Joseph Veale is 32 years old.

Encrochat dealer ‘monstermunchman’ boasted of luxury villa holidays

Veale was caught negotiating prices for large volumes of cocaine with those responsible for importing the Class A drug between May 19 and June 13, 2020. The 32-year-old man used the money from the drug sale to buy jet skis and going on extravagant vacations, which involved staying in luxury villas for months at a time. He was identified as a suspect following the launch of an NCA-led sweep operation following the EncroChat infiltration. EncroChat allowed criminals to send encrypted messages using modified smartphones to plan illegal activities, before it was compromised in a Europe-wide operation. The NCA’s Operation Venetic led to hundreds of arrests on the basis of compromised EncroChat messages and the seizure of millions of pounds worth of drugs. Modified mobile devices allow users to send messages under pseudonyms, to protect their anonymity.

The police operation led officers to review the EncroChat messages and use them as evidence in court. Detective Sergeant Christian Gordon said: “Despite not having a job, Veale reaped the benefits of criminal activity from him, owning luxury items and taking expensive trips abroad.” He was responsible for the supply of a substantial amount of cocaine and ran his conspiracy through a platform that he believed would keep him under the radar. But after EncroChat was breached, officers were able to review messages attributed to Veale under a code name and compile a catalog of evidence against him. “Thanks to this hard work, he now faces a long period behind bars.” Although this case is now closed, our fight continues against those who try to bring illegal drugs into our communities.
