Jooyoung Lee, a sociologist at the University of Toronto, wrote on Twitter that he was Cail’s teammate in high school. Jamie had a work ethic that was second to none. She gave it all up at every practice and became a world-class distance swimmer through determination. Rest in peace one for real,” Lee wrote.
