Jacob Allerson, 34, after harassing women in Chester’s shops, cafes, and gyms, a man has been barred from discussing sex with any woman in England and Wales.
Allerson was brought into court because he ‘would not take ‘no’ for an answer’ when he made inappropriate sexual comments towards young women,’ according to the court. Chester magistrates imposed a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) on him, along with a sex-gagging order spanning the entirety of England and Wales. To prevent him from going over from the English side, police had urged the court to prohibit him from being a sex pest in Wales. Mr. Allerson has been accused of following ‘young female workers’ from businesses, and he fears jail if he is found bothering women in public again.

Chester man (34) faces nationwide sexual remarks ban
‘Police got complaints from members of the public and companies that their young female employees were being followed,’ said Inspector James Wilson. When he asked them out, Allerson would not take ‘No’ for an answer and made inappropriate sexual comments to young women. Allerson continued to be a nuisance and intimidated women who should have been able to go about their business without fear of harassment,’ the court said.
According to the Order, Mr. Allerson is prohibited from acting in any way that might result in ‘female harassment, alarm, or distress, including making any unsolicited explicit sexual statement, suggestions, or requests to any female in a public location in England or Wales.’ He is not permitted to access any premises in England and Wales that have been barred or excluded verbally or in writing. Mr. Allerson must leave any premises in England and Wales if asked to do so by a member of staff or security.
He was barred from the Brio Leisure gym, Fatface shop, Caffe Nero Eastgate Street, Bridge Street, and Foregate Street in Chester.
