WA Police have charged 28-year-old Imaddeen Sayed with murder after another man was killed in a machete-related dispute at a service station in Perth’s north.
Atbin Razavianroudbarden, 22, a young man who was allegedly killed in a vicious machete attack in daylight on his way to pick up his mother, has been remembered as the kindest soul by bereaved family and friends. Emergency services were called to a 7-Eleven service station in Landsdale, north Perth, on Thursday following reports of an unconscious man. Razavianroudbarden, 22, had been in an altercation with another man when a third party allegedly attacked him with a machete. He died at the scene shortly after he was allegedly struck in the back with a machete, with reports that he also received cuts to his chest and neck. Family and friends of Mr. Razavianroudbarden remembered the young victim as “full of love”.

The 22-year-old is believed to have just gotten a haircut and was on his way to pick up his mother to get passport photos when his life was cut short. He was planning a trip to Bali with friends and was excited about his sister’s wedding at the end of the year. I can’t think why they would do this. Because? He was nice to everyone,” Razavianroudbarden’s brother-in-law, Cyrus Takhfifi, told the West Australian. He just stopped for fuel…so he didn’t know these people.” He later told Nine News that his brother-in-law was “full of love, a great family man, always helping everyone.
Imaddeen Sayed Arrested
A 28-year-old man was arrested hours after the incident after a large team of police officers, including the Tactical Response Group, descended on the area. He was later charged with murder. Imaddeen Sayed, 28, appeared at Northbridge Magistrates Court on Saturday. He did not ask for bail and will remain behind bars until he faces Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on July 19. The incident occurred in front of shocked customers and staff at the service center, who have extended their Employee Assistance Program to anyone who witnessed the attack. All we know (is) that … there have been several customers (with the service station attendant) at the time this incident occurred,” Police Inspector Vic Hussey said Thursday.
