Hemanth Dutt, a 20-year-old attacked an E-Kart delivery man in Hassan, Karnataka, because he couldn’t afford an iPhone he had bought. According to authorities, the boy kept the body at his home for three days before burning it in an attempt to avoid being charged with murder, News 18 reported.
The terrible event occurred on February 7 in Arasikere, Hassan, when the defendant, Hemanth Dutt, received an iPhone that he had purchased.

Murders Delivery Boy and Burns Body
He promised to return shortly with the money from his room. Instead, Dutt reportedly attacked the delivery man multiple times with a knife, News 18 reported.
After the fact, the defendant kept the body of the deceased tied up in a bag at his home for three days. He intended to burn the body somewhere on the outskirts of the city.
Dutt was preparing to dispose of the body. To eliminate the evidence, he bought gasoline and took the body to a local train station on his two-wheeler, where he set it on fire.
He was detained due to CCTV evidence showing him buying gasoline and transporting the dead body, News 18 reported. After an investigation, Hassan police detained him.
