Gerardo Hernandez-Rodriguez, 41, was walking along the Columbia River Highway on Saturday at 2 p.m. when he tragically lost his footing and fell down an embankment on a busy route near Multnomah Falls, roughly 30 miles east of downtown Portland, officials said.
