George Woods, 18, was stabbed on Woodward Crescent in Miller, in Sydney’s southwest, shortly after 9pm on October 1. Emergency services performed CPR before taking the teenager to Liverpool Hospital, but he died less than a week later. Sadly, George’s mother passed away in December 2020. The news left his loved ones devastated, with many sharing tributes and photos of the teenager online. “To my beautiful little cousin, I can’t believe you’re gone, I can’t believe life could be so cruel and take you so young,” one cousin shared. ‘I know that God will be there with open hands and I know that your mother will be by your side.
