Second person dies following crowd crush
Videos of the crowd from Thursday posted online show a sea of people squeezed outside the venue pushing each other as people yell “stay away!” The people at the front of the crowd were pushed against the gates of the London venue until the surge of people finally broke through and entered the lobby, where the worst wounded were.
Police are investigating the tragedy and reviewing cell phone and surveillance video, as well as interviewing witnesses. There were around 4,000 potential witnesses present at the time of this incident and we urge any member of the public with information to come forward,” the Metropolitan Police said.
