Frankie Jules-Hough, 38, a pregnant mother-of-two died after being badly injured in a car accident that also injured her son and nephew.
Frankie Hough died today in hospital following the Saturday afternoon incident on the M66 near Manchester. Tommy, nine, and Rocky, two, were gravely injured, as was her four-year-old nephew Tobias Welby. Tommy and Tobias are still in induced comas in intensive care. They were all airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.

Driver Adil Iqbal arrested, Crash on M66 motorway
Adil Iqbal, 22, of Accrington, was arrested at the scene and charged with three charges of causing serious harm by dangerous driving. He appeared in Manchester Magistrates’ Court today when it was revealed that Frankie, who was expecting a baby girl, died suddenly. Iqbal, who works in a boxing gym, only spoke to confirm his name, birth date, and address. He was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in Minshull Street Crown Court on June 19.

Debbie Wright, Ms. Hough’s best friend, has set up a fundraising website to help her family cope with “the most traumatic incident they have ever experienced.” Frankie, who is presently 18 weeks pregnant, is struggling for her life in intensive care. Calvin, her partner, is urgently by her side. Tommy and Tobias are in an induced coma in intensive care and are awaiting brain scan results.
‘This is horrible for the family, and their entire world has been flipped upside down. The following several weeks/months will be critical for the family, and it will be extremely traumatizing for everyone.’ Ms. Wright said all four had family members in the hospital, including Tobias’ parents Becci and Aaron, Tommy’s father, and Ms. Hough’s parents Julia and Frank.
