Smith charged with concealment of a human corpse

Steven Smith, 35, was charged the next day with concealing a human corpse. Cops alleged at the time that they possessed a video of Smith dumping the actor’s body from a car and that he later confessed but denied any involvement in the crime. According to his criminal complaint, Smith told police that at one time, a woman named “Pam” approached him and asked for his assistance in discarding the body of an overdose victim. “That guy was already dead. “He overdosed, I had nothing to do with it,” Smith told investigators, according to court documents. According to the records, Smith’s automobile belonged to Vallelonga Jr.’s brother, Nicholas, who told detectives he did not permit Smith to use his 2021 grey Hyundai Elantra. Smith has now been charged, but he has yet to appear in court, according to the Bronx District Attorney. “A warrant has been issued, and he will be arraigned on an indictment when he is picked up,” a spokesman for the office said.
