Frances Kendra Lucero, 27, a ‘loyal’ mother of two, was shot dead by her two children’s father Romier Narag, 27 after they argued during a family dinner.
Frances Kendra Lucero was shot by her partner Romier Narag, 27, in front of their two children, ages 3 and 4, on March 6 in Daly City, California. Investigators say Frances was shot by Narag with a 9mm pistol as she was running to her house around 7:30 p.m. She was shot four times, according to the Daily City Police Department, and Narag was arrested shortly after.
He has been charged with murder, child endangerment, having a concealed firearm in a vehicle, and having a concealed loaded weapon. Narag is currently behind bars at the Maguire Correctional Facility and will appear in court on March 16 in connection with the incident.

His two children are in the care of the victim’s family while also undergoing an evaluation by the social worker. In a tribute to Frances, her sister wrote: ‘To my best-integrated friend. I never imagined myself writing something like this for you. You were my best friend, my (sic) ate, my second mom, and my platonic soulmate. ‘I will love you forever and miss you. I wish I could hug you one more time. Have one more conversation with you. I will always be blessed to be able to call myself Frances Kendra’s little sister. Kuya, dad, me and mom will be fine. Rest now ate. She prays that you no longer feel pain. I pray that you are at peace. My guardian angel. I love you a lot.’
A fundraiser for the mother of two surpassed her $30,000 goal, reaching $37,500, with the funds going toward her funeral. A family member wrote on the GoFundMe page: ‘Frances dedicated her life to her children and she always passed on the love she had to share. She was the most genuine, thoughtful, loyal and ambitious woman we have all been lucky enough to know.
‘Frances was that friend who helped you celebrate the good times and gave you nothing but support during the bad times. She was a beautiful mother, daughter, sister and friend who touched countless lives of those around her. She “unfortunately she leaves behind her mother, father, little brother, little sister and two babies of hers.”
