We learned last night that one of our most beloved staff members passed away suddenly at his home yesterday. Coach Eric Baker has been a fixture at Cheer Extreme DMV for the past 11 years, and he has touched so many lives and brought so many smiles to our athletes and families.
We are devastated by this tremendous loss. While we don’t have any information on a service yet, we will be hosting a celebration of life soon and will send out details as we have them. As everyone knows, Eric was always the loudest and funniest person in the room, and we know he would like us to celebrate his life and share our best memories. We will dedicate this season to Eric. Our athletes and families meant the world to him. Soon we will update you with a date and time when we can all remember it together. We will be in the gym at our regular hours and are available to anyone who wants to talk.
