Enrique Padilla Wiki – Enrique Padilla Biography
Enrique Padilla, 19, shot and killed Michael Tenorio, 52, in a movie complex near an interstate highway in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Sunday evening.
Witnesses told police that a man later identified as Padilla arrived at the cinema with his girlfriend and found another couple in at least one of their reserved seats for a showing of No Hard Feelings. Tenorio and his wife, Trina Tenorio, had bought tickets separated by two seats, hoping that people in those seats would move down so they could sit together after a box office employee reportedly told them it shouldn’t be an issue. Cinema staff attempted to help resolve the dispute, but it escalated with Padilla standing up and hurling a bucket of popcorn at Mrs Tenorio. Mr Tenorio then shoved Padilla, after which the 19-year-old drew a gun and started shooting, according to police. Mr Tenorio, 52, was shot and died at the scene. His wife said he was unarmed.
Enrique Padilla is 19 years old.

Police later found a wounded Padilla hiding behind a bush outside an emergency exit. A gun was also found outside that was compatible with spent casings from the shooting. Padilla was at a hospital under guard Monday evening while being treated for a gunshot wound, Mr Gallegos said after filing charges against Padilla in connection with the shooting. It was unclear whether Padilla had a legal representative who could speak on his behalf. Emergency dispatchers received about 20 calls as other people fled the cinema. Police spokesman Gilbert Gallegos said when officers arrived there was ‘understandably a lot of chaos’ and added to KOB4: ‘A lot of people running from the theater and trying to get away.’
A criminal complaint and arrest warrant against Padilla listed open counts of homicide, shooting at an occupied building and tampering with evidence. The complaint said Padilla was wounded in the abdomen but did not give further explanation. An off-duty police officer who was at the movie administered emergency aid to Tenorio. The officer witnessed the confrontation but did not see a weapon in the darkened cinema, reporting a rapid-fire succession of gunshots before one man in the dispute ran out. People on social media were shocked about the incident, saying: ‘Wow. All over seats. What is this world coming to. Well, bet he won’t fight over a seat in prison.’ Another added: ‘I guess we need to frisk the movie patrons before entering the theater.’ A third posted: ‘Over a damn seat. Though guy with a gun. Hope he gets what he deserves.’
