Eliyanah Crisostomo was killed in a vehicle on Interstate 880 in Fremont on Saturday night while on her way to a birthday party with her family. According to the California Highway Patrol, they received a complaint of a shooting on a motorway at 6:40 p.m.A car was discovered by responding cops on southbound I-880. The parents in the automobile claimed that their daughter had been shot at. The girl was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead. The county coroner later identified her as Eliyanah Crisostomo. Over the following few hours, investigators closed down a part of I-880, and they continued their inquiry on Sunday.

Killed in Shooting on I-880 near Milpitas
Eliyanah was with her family on their way to the Outback restaurant in Milpitas for a birthday dinner, according to a gofundme page created by a family acquaintance, when the shooting occurred. The young girl was hit by a gunshot, and within 30 seconds of the incident, she died. Jeff McGrew penned the following about Eliyanah: “Eliyanah was a fun-loving little girl who loved life, had a giving heart, and was close with her three siblings, especially her brother who was 11 months apart.
” Before this horrific incident tore the family apart, both were incredibly eager for Easter. On April 21st, Eliyanah would have turned 6 years old. Pamela Price, the district attorney for Alameda County, claims that 154 bullets were fired on Bay Area motorways in 2022. Price’s office is currently deciding whether charges to press in the 23-month-old Jasper Wu’s motorway homicide. A motorway firefight between shooters in two other vehicles occurred on 6 November 2021, and the toddler was killed while riding in his parent’s car.
