Dylan Watters has been arrested after being accused of multiple stabbings of his 70-year-old grandmother, Jackson County, Ohio, deputies reported.
Watters, 26, was taken into custody Saturday morning after deputies found him walking down McCarty Lane in Jackson, according to a social media post from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

Alleged victim reportedly suffered multiple stab wounds
The post said he received a 911 call shortly after 4 a.m. of Saturday. An elderly woman reportedly suffered multiple stab wounds to the face, neck and chest and the attacker had fled the scene. The Sheriff’s Office is handling this case, and charges are pending against Watters following the investigation.
Deputies responded to a residence in the 600 block of Hall and Davis Road in Thurman, where the alleged victim, identified as Connie Jenkins, was transported to Holzer Medical Center.
The Jenkins condition was not available. Waters has been transported to the Jackson County Correctional Center to await court proceedings. Deputies report that the charges are pending amid an active investigation.
