Described by his loved ones as a spirited, adventurous soul, Dillon was known for his love of speed and his meticulous care for his prized motorcycle. His love of riding brought him great joy and a sense of freedom that he treasured. On two wheels, he envisioned himself exploring the open road and discovering new landscapes. Dillon Billingsley was riding his motorcycle along a busy main street in Reno, Nevada on May 27th. According to witnesses, a distracted driver who was engrossed in their mobile device suddenly veered into oncoming traffic.
The collision between the motorcycle and the distracted driver’s vehicle was unavoidable due to insufficient time to react. Dillon suffered serious injuries as a result of the tragic incident. Authorities were quickly notified of the accident, and emergency medical personnel hurried to the area to provide immediate help. Dillon died as a result of his injuries, despite the quick response. Paramedics and medical personnel made every effort to stabilize him, but he died from his injuries before being transferred to the hospital.
