Investigation Report
The disturbing case began in April 2022 when a mushroom hunter discovered a suitcase with “Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas Nevada” written on it. The child found inside died of dehydration, police previously said. Jordan was identified six months after the discovery. Details of the plea deal reached between Coleman and prosecutors were not immediately clear. Her sentencing is set for Nov. 21, the Courier Journal reported. Authorities are still searching for her mother, who faces murder charges. Indiana State Police Sgt. Carey Huls said in April that police believe Anderson is out west, possibly in Los Angeles or Las Vegas, the newspaper reported. Before the boy’s death, his mother allegedly made posts on Facebook about him being demonic and needing to be exorcised.
