David Alan Profitt II, 25, a Kentucky man was arrested by a SWAT team at a Top Golf over the weekend on suspicion of killing his girlfriend, just months after the couple shared love-struck selfies on social media.
Mr. David Alan Profitt of Bowling Green was taken into custody “without incident” at Topgolf in Fishers, Indiana on Saturday, Fishers Police Chief Ed Gebhart said. Profitt was charged with murder and unlawful robbery in connection with the death of his girlfriend, 22-year-old Alexandra Hemmann. Hemmann was found dead of an “apparent homicide” at an apartment on Winners Circle in Bowling Green on Saturday when local officers conducted a welfare check, Detective David Grimsley said in a brief video statement Monday. Hemmann and Profitt were a couple, and the latter was quickly identified as the prime suspect in the alleged murder, Grimsley said.

Indiana authorities were alerted once it was determined that Profitt likely fled to the Topgolf entertainment center. It’s unclear how authorities knew he was there. The Bowling Green Police Department did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for more details about the incident. Less than three months before the murder, on May 29, both Hemmann and Profitt updated their Facebook profile photos with smiling selfies of the couple. Profitt will be transferred to the Warren County Regional Jail in the next few days, police said. He may face more charges once the case goes before a grand jury, authorities added.
