Dave Wiki – Dave Biography
Dave, 58, whose family chose not to reveal his surname, was shot in Kalgoorlie, 600 kilometers east of Perth, on Friday shortly after midday. Dave was armed with a gun at the time and had been repeatedly warned by police before opening fire. One officer fired his gun twice, while another fired his gun once. Dave was hit in the chest once while officers performed first aid until paramedics arrived. He was rushed to Kalgoorlie hospital but died from his injuries at around 1.30pm on Friday.

Investigation Report
Detectives from the WA Major Crime Division are carrying out investigations into the man’s death, after authorities declared a critical incident at the scene. Dave’s gun was also seized. It is unknown if this is a working firearm. WA Police said they reviewed footage from body cameras worn by officers during the incident. “And based on that preliminary assessment, it appears that the officers involved acted in accordance with policy and their training,” a spokesperson said. ‘The health and wellbeing of the officers involved remains a priority, and they have been placed on compulsory leave for critical incidents. “Health and social care staff have traveled to Kalgoorlie to provide support to officers.” Anyone with information has been urged to come forward or contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
