Dan Duffy, 36, posted a video of himself being arrested by Lancashire Police officers on his YouTube channel called Exploring with Danny. He has posted several videos on TikTok since Nicola Bulley went missing on January 27, as well as on his YouTube channel, which has 206,000 subscribers. Lancashire Police said he received a fixed penalty notice under section 4 of the Public Order Act: fear or provocation of violence.

In the arrest video, Mr. Duffy said: “Hello guys, I’m being arrested for a public order offence. You’ve had a charge.” As everyone knows, he was looking for the missing woman Nicola, but this is what this country is becoming.
In earlier clips posted on his channel, Duffy said he joined the search because he “wants some answers” and there are “a lot of conspiracy theories going around the internet.” He also said that he “actually had been in people’s backyards at night with torches”.
Police said no other people had received a fixed penalty notice in connection with the search. In a statement, police said: “A 36-year-old man from Darwen was arrested under Section 4 of the Public Order Act – Fear/Provocation of Violence. He Was Given a Fixed Penalty Notice.
