According to her Linkedin page, Ms. Polianskaya-Carew works as a brand manager at the Stardust boutique at Monaco’s opulent Hotel de Paris. Carew is characterized as a real estate agent, and the couple was directors of Sterling Estates International, a company that had previously been formed in London and Monaco. According to the Monaco-Matin newspaper, the family’s villa is partially covered by a tall hedge and situated at the end of a dead-end road. Neighbors stated they had heard nothing on the day of the alleged occurrence, but police had been called and the property had been taped off.
A judicial investigation for attempted aggravated murder and intentional violence against a spouse had been launched by prosecutors. According to Monaco-Matin, Carew was represented by a Parisian lawyer when he appeared before a court that ordered his detention.
