Dale Joram Edward Hamilton, the suspect, a 26-year-old man, has been charged with murder after an alleged neighborhood dispute turned deadly in a rural Queensland town. Police allege that Del Joram Edward Hamilton was accosted by a man at the Mails in Western Downs, some 300km west of Brisbane, on Tuesday night. Then the debate broke out. Hamilton allegedly punched 44-year-old Jonathan Martin in the chest, knocking him to the ground. He was taken to the hospital and died a short time later.

Hamilton charged with murder after altercation
Acting Superintendent Gary Watts alleged that the altercation was the result of an ongoing dispute. There has been a thorough inspection of the property by specialized police,” Watts said. We are still investigating the nature of the altercation, but it appears to have stemmed from a neighborhood dispute, than some criminal damage and what followed.” Hamilton faced court in Toowoomba today and was unable to apply for bail. His next appearance is scheduled for May 29.
