Hitting the car with an ax
Las Vegas, when the police arrived on the scene, they discovered that the car had significant damage and when they were looking for Vera, they found it inside his house. Vera agreed to leave his house alone and without protection.
But when the police ordered him to come over to them, he started pacing in front of his house. He was detained after two minutes when he began to walk backwards towards the police. Vera allegedly claimed to be hitting the car with an ax because he was trying to save a child inside.
The woman admitted to police that she did not have a romantic connection to Vera and that she once heard him scream inside her own home while she was in the garage. Vera’s actions led the lady to load her son and some of her belongings into the car. While she was still collecting her belongings, the woman saw Vera throw an ax at her car, in which she was transporting the girl. The woman allegedly ran back to her house after grabbing her son.
She claimed that Vera continued to use the ax to hit her car after removing the child from her and then took a box of clothes from inside before leaving. Vera was held at the Clark County Detention Center on a $24,000 bond.
